In the spring, nature comes back to life and flowers and shrubs start to color again. It stays light longer and the sun’s rays feel more and more powerful. The light of the sun is good for our energy.
Spring is also the time to discover what you can clean up, in order to create space for new developments. It is also a good time to feel inside what you want to grow.
This month we focus on our liver and gallbladder
This month we pay specific attention to the liver and gallbladder, and in particular the energy channels of these organs, also called meridians. Good cooperation between these meridians is important for our health. If there is too much stress for a long time, an imbalance can arise, which can result in complaints. We will go into this further in our spring workshop this month.
Chinese medicine
In Chinese medicine, spring is associated with the liver and gallbladder meridians. The meridians of the liver and gallbladder run on the inside of the legs and on the side of the body. After the winter, when the energy is turned inward, growth and movement return in spring.
The wood element symbolizes spring: opening up and blossoming. The organ system of the liver and the meridians of the liver and gallbladder belong to the wood element.
